Sports Intro Project
Overview
This project is a high-energy Sportsnet broadcast intro, designed to demonstrate 3D motion expertise and professional execution. The objective was to deliver a 15-45 second animation that meets rigorous industry delivery standards.
Utilizing a seamless Cinema 4D and After Effects pipeline, I transformed complex geometry into a high-fidelity visual experience. The final result combines synchronized audio with dynamic motion, showcasing a complete mastery of the digital production workflow.
The Challenges
Executing this project for Sportsnet required a seamless bridge between Cinema 4D and After Effects. The challenge was not just creating 3D models, but ensuring that the texturing, lighting, and animation worked in harmony to reveal the iconic logo with maximum impact. Every second of the 15-45s duration had to be purposeful, demanding a high level of precision in both technical setup and overall design flow.
Execution
My approach to execution involved bridging the gap between raw 3D assets and a polished broadcast product. By mastering the Cinema 4D to After Effects workflow, I was able to focus on high-level design elements like lighting and texture depth. The result was a high-fidelity sports intro that met all 1080p/30fps technical requirements while showcasing a professional level of motion graphics expertise.
